What are the steps involved in getting a custom made website?

Step 1 --- Complete the Free Quote Request online or contact us directly. Upon review, we will provide you with a proposal that outlines your project & estimates the timeframe for completion.

Step 2 --- You review/sign our Customer Agreement, pay a 50% non-refundable deposit & supply us with all the information, pictures, logos, etc. required for your project.

Step 3 --- We will design a preliminary layout of your website. You will have the opportunity to approve the design & suggest changes.

Step 4 --- Once you are satisfied with the final version of the website, we will help you to set up your domain name & web hosting plan if you don't already have these items in place. You will also need to pay all remaining project fees. Once final payment is made, your website will be "launched" onto the Internet.

Where are you located? We reside in Central Florida, though as an internet-based company we can easily work with clients from all over the country

What are the steps involved in purchaing one the pre-made designs you have posted for sale? It's pretty much the same process as outlined above. If you would like to purchase a pre-made design, simply contact us to being the process.

What is the difference between a Custom & Pre-made Design? Custom Designs are built from scratch & created to meet all of your exact project specifications. Pre-made designs are templates that we have already made, which means they generally are quicker to produce.

Once I pay the deposit, how long will it take to launch my website? Most projects can be launched within 30 days. The deposit & Customer Agreement must be returned to us before any work on your project will begin.

Once my website is launched, can I add more items to it? Yes, we refer to these as "add-ons", which can be anything from e-commerce products, extra web pages, maintenance updates, logo design, etc. In such cases, we will provide you with an invoice of those expenses.

After my website is complete, how much will it cost to update it? Think*Pink {web designs} will make minor changes to your website for up to two weeks after the launch date. Minor changes include, but aren't limited to, minor text changes, adding links, attachments, special tags, etc. Anything after the two week timeframe and/or deemed beyond the realm of a minor change may be subject to a fee or hourly rate. In such cases, we will provide you with an invoice of those expenses.

Can I update the website on my own? Sure! But we only recommend you do your own site maintenance and/or product entries if you are computer savvy. This topic is covered extensively in our Customer Agreement, but as long as you leave the credits to our company in tact you are free to manage the site on your own.

What is flash animation? What are the advantages & disadvantages? Flash refers to adding multimedia (sound, motion, video & animation) to your website. The advantage of flash technology is that it can add interactivity & a 'wow' factor to your site. The disadvantage is that the pages of the site can take a little longer to load, particularly on dial-up connections or slow servers. If you opt to use Flash, we suggest that you keep it to a minimum & also to only a few pages of your website. This will help keep the website user-friendly to all of your visitors & help to maintain a faster load time for individual web pages.
